Hi! This is Anya. Don't you catch a cold?
Do you like figure skating?
I like very much. I like figure skating in winter and synchronized swimming in summer.
Those dances are so graceful on ice and in water, where it is difficult for performance.
Every summer and winter, I’m looking forward to it.
Then I’ve decided to write this topic here because the Grand Prix Final finished yesterday.
Did you see that? So exciting, wasn’t it?
It was a pity it wasn’t live broadcast. But I never minded.
It was still thrilling to watch unless I knew who was going to win.
Watching TV, I shouted in my heart, “Go on! Go on! It’s all right. Trust yourself!” and my heart was pounding hard, even though I knew it was already done!
In Saturday’s short program, I couldn’t believe Mao was last.
“What’s going on with Mao??”
I knew Mao hasn’t succeeded the combination jump of the short program in a row in this season.
As Mao grows up, I guess she gets to know a variety of pressure and feel nervous.
Mao said “I was dancing with joy two years ago.” too.
But Mao was calm and never gave up!
In Sunday’s free skate, Mao succeeded triple Axel and got level 4 with her spins.
She did everything she could, she finished second though. I was touched by her tears.
And I want to give applause to Yu-Na Kim who was keeping her nerves after a fall and impressed the audience with her beautiful dance. She has tough mind!
In Men’s short program, Daisuke’s dance was fantastic! (But he wasn’t satisfied! Wow!)
His attempt of Hip Hop is amazing. It must be hard to dance, stepping with that rhythm and moving his neck in that way.
It is likely to tumble! But Daisuke’s Hip Hop was exciting to the audience and I wanted to watch him dance more.
Even though Daisuke was beaten by Lambiel by 0.16 (It’s regrettable!), I hope it will be good for him in the future.
Both of them competed well against each other. Lambiel’s Flamenco was artistic!
But but… just let me complain this…
“I WATNED TO WATCH WEIR’S FREE SKATE ON TV!!!!! Even if he was going to be 4th!”
Of course, I cheered for Japanese players but secretly I like American skater Johnny Weir and Korean skater Yu-Na Kim. I’m fan of them.
I’m just enchanted with their dances.
Johnny’s performance has delicacy like women. He has something any other man doesn’t have.
Besides, he is handsome and look like a fairy to me(o-v-o)
And Yu-Na. She is only 17 years old like Mao.
She is just a girl out of the rink, but she can become an elegant woman in the rink.
I’m sure she is improving more and more! Of course, Mao too!
There will be the game which decides who the best in Japan is next. I can’t wait!
Uh-Oh… I've written too long(><) Sorry and thank you for reading♪
